Good post, thanks. I was delighted to see you quoting from, and linking to, The Myth of Sisyphus, by Camus. That essay contains one of my favorite lines, which I quote constantly (so often that even my kids now say it!), especially when facing a sink full of washing-up for the fifth time that day: “We must imagine Sisyphus happy.”

Thank you for the kind words. That essay by Camus is quite incredible. One of the best starting lines ever, too, although maybe not quite as motivating for facing a sink full of dishes!

Yeah, it’s a strong opener! I bought my daughter that essay collection a couple of years ago (she’s 19 now), because I thought she might enjoy that essay, and she loved it. So it works for the younger generation too! Everything’s going to be all right.
